I had a question about this collection which I'm thinking of purchasing.

Does anyone know if these episodes are the uncut original CBS network versions or the stripped for syndication versions? Lately I have been leery about purchasing TV on DVD because I have been burned more than once when purchasing a series box set only to find out that the shows included are the syndicated versions I can watch any day of the week on Lifetime, the WB, Nick at Nite, TV Land, etc.

Gilligan isn't as run in syndication that much as it had been in the past and I really want to watch this series again but only if the series is offered uncut and complete.

They're the uncut original episodes, and they've been restored. They look great! I worked on the DVDs.

I'm sorry, but having viewed the DVD versions of Gilligan's Island, I DID notice a few cuts from the original episodes.  I really do wish that when companies transferred shows to tape or disc, they'd do a direct transfer, rather than deciding which scenes we can do without.
