It's quite possibly my favorite show of all time (after Friends). I adore it.

I love Gilmore Girls. I have a "thing" for Alexis Bledel. re: Gilmore Girls

I refused to watch it for a long time because I knew the moment I did, I would be hooked. I was right. I looooove Luke.

Same thing happened to me with Party of Five...avoided it, watched it, became obsessed with it. You gotta love those shows where you're guaranteed a good laugh and a good cry in one episode.

I adore Gilmore Girls! I can't wait for the new season to start! I hate that ABC Family shows it at 5 on weekdays, I never get to see more than the last 20 minutes or so.

Personally, I have a thing for Lauren Graham. (closer to my age)

I remember back in the day I was flipping channels, caught a glimpse of her and thought "ooo she's purty" and stopped to watch for a moment.

That was the premiere and I've been hooked since.

Wouldn't it be great if Paris got her own show?

ewww no, no Paris.

I think if Sookie and her hubby had their own show.

As much as I like Paris, can you imagine how irritating an all Paris all the time show would be?!
Guido, I love Sookie too, but the Grandparents are my favorite characters. They are always so well written and superbly acted.

Does everyone here realize that the actress playing Paris (Lisa Weil) was originally up for the role of Rory? She didn't get it, but the casting people and writers loved her so much that they wrote the role of Paris just for her - pretty impressive, huh? I love this show - and I'm a 43 year old man. I used to think it was simply a chick show - but it's so wonderfully and wittily written, that I got hooked quickly.

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

I love Gilmore Girls! I began watching it during season two, but stopped for a while because it movied to the Tuesday 8pm spot that was also occupied by Buffy on the UPN. I just got back into it over the summer. I think that Matt Czuchry (Logan) and Alexis have great chemistry, as do Scott (Luke) and Lauren.

I'm really looking forward to season 6 and how this rift between Lorelai an Rory will play out.

Redhot- I actually did know that.

Gilmore Girls is just so... smart. Fast and witty and sarcastic. It's brilliant. Lauren is a superb actress also. She hits the funny right on, and can make you cry. Yesterday at 5 on ABCfamily, when she was talking (well, screaming) to Christopher, I almost started crying. I could really tell how much she was hurting. God, I love this show!

I think Gilmore Girls is the best show on television right now.

I resisted the show for the longest time and caught an episode in syndication about 3 months ago. Now, I am completely caught up thanks to DVD, syndication and reruns.

The thing that I love is that it's extremely intelligent and witty and they don't wait for you to get the jokes. I'd like to think that I am at least of average intelligence and there are often times I take notes during the show to look up a reference afterwords.

Great show and absolutely NOTHING to be embrassed about liking, Liam.

Haha. I definetly try to. They just have so many references and I don't get quite a few. I quote them all the time though. "Oy with the poodles already!" "Copper boom!" and many others.

Born2 - Rory got into Harvard, but at the last minute decided to go to Yale instead. Her grandfather went there, and besides, it's closer to home, which makes it possible for her to come home every weekend. I'm sure the writers figured it would be really awkward to have her at Harvard, a four hour drive away, when Yale would be about an hour and a half.
