Beav - hello to you, darling! - you just made my day
i guess he benefitted from something else also... and then got caught... Updated On: 12/15/04 at 01:55 PM

Priceless.
On a more serious note, I'm shocked to see that the exploitation of a minor makes so many days around here. That's delightful, people. Sometimes, being a human being should transcend politics.
Get over it, ckeaton. It has to do with a group of people claiming to be morally superior being proven to be not only as human as the rest of us, but, in this case, a few notches below what the rest of us sinners would consider acceptable moral decision makers.
I find great, GREAT pleasure in calling a hypocrite on the table, especially one so glad-handedly endorsed by our hideous and evil president and his moral majority leadership.
It makes my day.
And you're not going to make any point trying to swerve it so that you want me to look like I'm getting pleasure out of a young girl's suffering. That's not the point and you know it.
Next to 'ex-gay' John Paulk caught at that gay bar ("I just needed to go to the bathroom REALLY bad, and it was the VERY FIRST THING that was closest, honest!!")...this is my bestest most favorite GOTCHA story.
Thanks for the day-brightener, beav!

"...out of a young girl's suffering."
The article posted didn't say anything about the youth being a female. Anyone know what name Mike uses here?
Another article did say the victim was a seventeen year-old female.
I don't care who it was. Republican or Dem. We should not be laughing about sexual assault.
Get over your non-point, ckeaton.
Stop being a douchebag, just for the sake of it, JohnPopa.
I'm sure you're equally offended by Michael Jackson and Pee Wee Herman jokes too.
If only we were more like you.
I don't want anyone to be like me. Then there'd be too many self-righteous know-it-alls running around. There's only room for the two of us, JP.
I love Michael Jackson jokes, because the man is a cartoon. I don't celebrate the fact that the crime has been committed, or laugh at the victims. I taunt the man. To me there is a subtle difference.
We will have to agree to disagree on this one JP.
There's no difference. I'm taunting this man, the cartoon morality he claimed to represent and the cartoon president who paraded him around for the world to see.
Well then. I will never laugh at another Michael Jackson joke, lest I be labeled a hypocrite. Touche, JP, Touche.
I love it...glad the morality police have some good examples!!!
'I find great, GREAT pleasure in calling a hypocrite on the table'
Haha me too. Especially when they lie to try to cover it...
Do you have a link for this by the way?
For some reason, I find the enjoyment of this revelation of hypocrisy WAAAAAAAAAAAY more easy to tolerate than the 'celebrations' over the recommendation of death for Scott Peterson.
Oh Robert, how can you have compassion for someone who murders his pregnant wife on Christmas and dumps her in the drink?
Though they are different issues entirely.
I have absolutely no compassion for him. And I'm not completely opposed to the death penalty, although I have MANY problems with it.
That said, I could never, EVER understand the concept of rejoicing at the killing of anyone, particularly state-sanctioned killing.
