Very good response that I think is very spot-on.

Oh Phyllis. Do not try to derail this conversation. We've decided that Glee is musical Davey & Goliath and this photo spread one small notch about a snuff film with beaver shots. Get with it.

The comments after that article (the ones that were visible, that is--the rest won't display) are pretty disturbing, too.

Taryn's article is a good 'un.

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

So why is it okay for them to behave virtually the same way on the show, as the commercial I linked shows?

Who said it was ok? My reaction to your vid is, "So the GQ shoot isn't the first bad choice they've made."

Although, it's obviously turned out not to be a bad choice, as they've gotten all the free publicity they could hope for out of it. Which is good, because it was in danger of slipping into obscurity unnoticed Glee goes barely legal

I think everyone who is finger-snapping in agreement to the articles that are posted is saying it's okay. I think people who say something to the effect of "This does a disservice to them and the show" are saying it's okay. There seems to be a disconnect between the sentiment behind this thread (which I would presume is an endorsement of the first blog linked by BorstalBoy) and the show itself, which is pretty much guilty of everything people are lambasting about the GQ spread.

They're an on-line publication now with occasional print issues when they get someone like Levi Johnston or Ronnie Kroell.

Where the [Rocky Horror] episode did become interesting—if not actually good—was not in the show's longterm stories (which it did little to advance) or the musical's themes and sexual complexities (which it watered down or ignored), but in how it worked as a weird, unintentional metacommentary on the GQ Glee photo spread the world freaked out over last week.

For nygrl232, Naya did a Maxim photoshoot earlier this year, just wearing lingerie.
