Tried to go today but we were denied admission because the ***** at the front desk said my wifes shoes were sneakers. They were not & many people behind us thought their decision was assinine.
Another tradition (Christmas drinks @ The Campbell Apt) is now a memory

Posted: 12/16/07 at 9:48pmIt is strange but they are very fussy about the no sneakers thing. I've been on the wrong side of their subjective determination, too. Head for the bar in Cafe Centro - in the Pan Am building. Not as posh, but still nice and pretty holiday decorations.

She was not wearing sneakers. We asked a few people behind us & they all said they were not sneakers
They can stick it where the sun does not shine. I have the CEO'S name of the company that manages it & I intend to push this further.
