God REALLY hates the Bible Belt

I don't know what more powerful message God could possibly send out than to devastate the Bible belt with tornadoes on Super Tuesday.

I never used to think that God sent messages through disasters, but Pat Robertson does, as did the late Jerry Falwell, may he rest in peaces.

I'm thinking God REALLY wants the separation of church and state and for people to stop voting against the very idea of gay marriage.

re: God REALLY hates the Bible Belt

Obviously you failed Theology 101. Satan can imitate God in some respects. Therefore, one might say that Satan is punishing the Bible Belt for voting against gay rights.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

If God truly loved the Bible Belt, she would have made shoes to match.

Theology 101?

I didn't waste much time on mythology while studying.

"Satan can imitate God in some respects." How convieeeenient!

Christianity is filled with such conveniences. You'd almost think people were just making it up as they went along!

I live in the part of TN that was hit by tornadoes. Memphis and where I live just outside of Memphis is not pretty right now.

Should I get my insurance policies rewritten to insure against "Acts of Satan"?

Better change it to "supernatural being."

All we need is yet another hair for a claims adjuster to be able to split.

I don't believe any of you posters actually know anything about the South. It is not totally populated by Bible-thumping, hair tizzed up to Jesus church-goers.

Oh, I'm sure. But, unfortunately, God doesn't have very good aim. If some college students have to die because God has to punish the Bible belt with a a tornado, so be it.

It's not like New Orleans was strictly abortionists and gay marriagers.

Too bad the Westboro baptist church survived.

I'll be praying for thier death in future storms.

Namo, may you be visited by snake handling, speaking in tongues, Bible wagging, holy rolling Pentecostals from Yazoo City, Mississippi.
Hey, it could happen.

re: God REALLY hates the Bible Belt

I'm sure that the nut jobs will play this nearly exactly like New Orleans in actuality.
Memphis is the most liberal area of Tennessee, obviously they were hit (like New Orleans) because they refuse to understand that they need to hate the gays. Also God hates them because many of them have the "mark of cain".
I stand corrected, you are as vapid as they say.

re: God REALLY hates the Bible Belt

Smart, you're correct about Memphis. It is by far the most liberal part of TN. I lived there openly for 24 years and never had a problem.

I, on the other hand, wasted plenty of time on mythology while studying. I was an Anthropology major. =0)

The dorm where a young Jersey cashed in her V card was destroyed last night. The campus of the small private baptist college has 30 million dollars worth of damage. No one was seriously injured, though.

Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

re: God REALLY hates the Bible Belt

Jersey is right. No one at Union University was killed in the tornado last night. Eight students were trapped in rubble for a while but were gotten out without serious injury. I live in Jackson, TN, which is where Union is located.
