My lips have been so chapped so far and I am so sick of it!!! I want nice, soft lips. I have tried so many lip balms from drug-store to really expensive and nothing seems to work. Has anyone tried one that really worked for them. Thanks so much!!!
Burt's Bees.
That's my favorite too - AND it comes in colors!! My personal favorite is Nutmeg.

I use plain old Chapstick. I love it. I used to have Burts Bees but it burned and the color that looked best still wasn't that good. Now I use Chapstick with lipgloss or something over it.
chapstick and burt's bees are great. also, vaseline or petroleum jelly. it's great. i put it on before i go to sleep.
I bought something in Paris last year, from the Body Shop, that I've been coveting called "Hemp Chanvre".....no idea what's in it, but at $7 a tube it is wondrous......it's not available in the US.....
chap stick when i'm out in the elements ... vaseline lip therapy for indoor healing. i need to smear some on now!

Jafra extra care cream. Sot the greatest smell, but put it on before you go to bed and you wake up with nice soft lips! I also like Burt's Bees!

Medicated Chapstick is the best. Blistex in a pinch.
Oh I know a thing or two about this stuff. Here is what I like:
1) Blistex Lip Medex. It comes in a blue container, like a balm.
and
2) The Blistex that comes in a white tube and you squeeze it out.
None of these come in those traditional chapstick form, but I find that these work the best.

I love Burt's Bees. There's also a product that Burt's Bees has that isn't for your lips, but that's what I use it for...carrot day cream, I think. I swear, anything it touches...it moisturizes, well, like woah.
theres this cocoa butter one i use thats amazing, and it smells great! :)

Aquaphor! Chapstick and Burt's Bees are also fine, as previously mentioned.

It sucks when I leave my Chapstick in my jeans when I do the wash.
It doesn't fare well through the washing and drying.
Burt's bees.
wexy, once I washed a load of clothes with Burt's Bees Nutmeg in my jeans pocket. Fortunately, I was able to get it out of the jeans, but most of the other clothes were r-u-i-n-e-d!
For really badly chapped lips, I apply Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream at bedtime. You wake up with perfect lips. It's not cheap - an actress I was working for gave me my first tube - I wouldn't have gone out and bought it - but it lasts forever, so it's totally worth it.
Burt's Bees is great - I've just started using the products. There's a nutmeg? The coconut foot creme is amazing! I'm addicted to the smell of the Milk and Almond lotion. Anybody been to The Village Apothecary on Bleeker Street? It looks like there's nothing in there but Burt's Bees products. What a neat store.
I have to say, though - although I haven't yet put Burt's Bees to the acid test - is that for bad chapping Blistex medicated is best. I also use it on the backs of my knuckles - which start to split and bleed on the first really cold day. It does give relief.
Nutmeg is one of the lip balm colors.
Thanks, Rath - I figured. I just hadn't seen it. All I have is Merlot, Rhubarb, Raisin & coffee. I've been deprived. That's what I get for buying Burt's Bees in CVS in New Jersey.
I have rhubarb too, but it's generally a bit too bright for my coloring.
