I loved that book when I was little!
Don't remember anything about it.
I also love The Giving Tree.
Exactly! Who hasn't read it? It's not exactly long...

Oh, I had some favorites when I was little and that was one!
I also loved The Very Hungry Caterpillar, I'll Love you Forever, and Heggedy Peg.
No, no one else has EVER read it.

In the great green room there was a telephone and a red balloon... and a picture of a cow jumping over the moon. There were three little bears sitting on chairs and two little kittens and a pair of mittens..
How sad that I just did that off the top of my head.
Actually, there was a little girl I was a nanny for who was OBSESSED with that book. We HAD to read it every night before bed. This was 7 years ago and I can still recite the whole book.
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...
I love that book. I read that to little kids last year at the library. I also loved The Elves and the Shoemaker and my Fraggle Rock books. :)
I'm pretty sure "Goodnight Moon" is one of the great literary masterpieces.
I have read it now, but I am one of those odd people who had never heard of it until very recently. I think when I was working at a summer camp two years ago. I was 26.
i like THE DUMB BUNNIES better.
And RUNAWAY BUNNY.
But my favorite story for kids is Sylvester and the Magic Pebble.
