Which moments in films are so absolutely perfect that they give you chills?
KILL BILL - When Bill finally dies.
WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT? - The final few minutes.
THE GODFATHER - Der. The baptism.
Anyone think of any others?

Bonnie and Clyde - When Bonnie and Clyde are talking to Bonnie's mother near the end:
"You try to live three miles from me and you won't live long, honey. You best keep runnin,' Clyde Barrow. And you know it. Bye, baby."
And the look in Bonnie's eyes tells you that she knows it's all over.
Thelma & Louise - Thelma: "But, umm, I don't know, you know, something's, like, crossed over in me and I can't go back, I mean I just couldn't live."

"Shut up! It's been 29 years!!!" --the incomparable Patti LuPone in her MUCH DESERVED Tony acceptance speech for Gypsy.
Kitzy's Avatar du Jour: Kitzy as Little Red Ridinghood in her college's production of "Into the Woods"

Heh, Kitzarina.
The Joy Luck Club - I can't even think about the ending without tearing up.

I'm pretty much in love with Kitzarina right now. I remember when that Goosebumps premiered...that was the first episode.
I'd say there are a lot of those moments in Garden State and Fight Club.

How the West Was Won - The end of the first half of the movie, before the intermission, when Debbie Reynolds sings A Home in the Meadow. *sigh*

-"It's good, ain't it?"

'Joy Luck'
The end of 'A league of their own'
a lot of it has to do with music.
-Adam Shankman.
"I haven't left this building since Windows 3.1!"
"Celebrating a birthday this week: Rene Descartes is 412! Do you know who he is? Then why are you watching this show? You could probably get into college and even get one of those job things. As for the rest of us; Amanda Bynes is 22! Yay!"
-E!'s "The Soup"

The telephone scene in "It's a Wonderful Life."
"Now, you listen to me. I don't want any plastics and I don't want any ground floors. And I don't want to get married - ever - to anyone!"

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me - The scene in the club when Julee Cruise is singing and Laura falls apart. Also, when Bobby and Laura are in the woods and she's so high that she starts laughing uncontrollably.
Angel Heart - The ending.
Freeway - The entire scene in the bronco.
"You should've just let me out of the car when I asked ya to, Bob. You see where bad manners getcha?"
Once Upon a Time in the West - The showdown between Fonda and Bronson.
Nashville - So many affecting moments, but Ronee Blakley singing Dues is heart breaking.
Coal Miner's Daugher - When Sissy sings the title song at the end. She's wonderful.
Monster's Ball - When Halle Berry falls apart at the hospital and the "Can you make me feel good?" scene.
Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? - Pretty much the whole film for me, but especially George's monologue about his parents and the ending.
Leaving Las Vegas - The ending.
Klute - When the killer is doing his monologue at the end and the tears keep pouring down Jane Fonda's face.
On Golden Pond - When Henry and Jane hug.
Agnes of God - "There is more than meets the eye here, isn't there?! Lots of dirty little secrets!"
The Glass Menagerie (1987) - When Joanne Woodward gives the monologue about her gentleman callers & all the scenes between Laura and Jim. This version really tore me apart.
A Trip to Bountiful - The ending.

Robert Altman's THE PLAYER is chock full of them:
- The first eight minutes (I swear to God I nearly cried when I first saw the opening...)
- The murder
- Richard E. Grant's movie pitch (*drool*)
- The ending

Scarface -
Elvira: HOW DARE YOU TALK TO ME LIKE THAT! What makes you so much better than me? What do you do? Kill people? Deal your drugs? Real contribution to human history Tony! What kind of a father do you think you'll make?! Gonna drive him to school in he morning? Are you even gonna be alive by the time the kid goes to school? You don't even know how to be a husband! Do we ever go anywhere without having six of your thugs hanging around all the time? I have Nick the Pig as a friend. What kind of life is that? Can't you see what we're becoming, Tony? We're losers. We're not winners, we're losers.
Tony: Go home. You're stoned.
Elvira: I'm not stoned. You're stoned.

tons of scenes in ET, but one in particular--
When Elliot sees ET's heart glowing again and realizes he's still alive. He lets out such a joyous scream...get's me every time.

Shbrt, I love that scene. I think that's my favorite part of It's A Wonderful Life.
My picks:
*Edward Scissorhands: The snow dance, "Hold me." "I can't." and Edward and Kim's final moment together.
*Return of the King: Pretty much the whole last hour.
