The bounty of the universe is available to me. My awareness of God's graciousness encourages my generosity of spirit.
It is easier and more natural for me to assume the best of someone than it is to assume the worst of someone. Graciousness strengthens our relationship.
It is far more enjoyable for me to speak words that bless and support others than it is for me to speak words that reproach or condemn them. Graciousness encourages us both.
As I choose to be gracious in thought, word, and action, I build consciousness that enables me to find even greater means of positive expression to and about others.

Red, Have you read Dr. Wayne Dyer's "The power of intention" - you'd like it!
Funny you should mention that - no, I haven't, but every time I hear him speak on PBS, I really sit up and take notice. My mom has been a huge fan of his for years - when I'm employed again and can afford it, that's a book I'll be looking for! Thanks for the recommendation.
I do love you, red...

BUY THE BOOK!!!!! It's very inspiring...and without a lot of hokum - in other words - you are allowed to joke, you are allowed to be human, what you are NOT allowed to do is ever have a negative thought about yourself!
Voice - I promise I'll try, once I've got some change in my pockets!
Red... that's exactly what I needed to read today.
Thanks.

Red-- I think you're the most well-adjusted person on this board. Bravo for not being nuts or self-absorbed.
"what you are NOT allowed to do is ever have a negative thought about yourself!"
Well, I'm screwed on that front!
But I like graciousness!
SorryGrateful - Why, thank you!...I'm just trying to fight the good fight..
As my mother always said - "Don't let the b*stards grind you down!"...I just keep plugging along, trying to stay positive and upbeat (difficult at times, but worth the effort, in the long run)
Thank you, again.
