Grad School and Monologue Advice??

So is anyone out there going to be auditioning for Graduate School anytime soon..I will be in Feb and completely nervous...


And for my monologues I think (I am still undecided) I am going to do Mary from The Memory of Water and I can't decide b/t Kate from the Taming of the Shrew "No Shame but mine..." , Luciana from The Comedy of Errors "And may it be that you have quite forgot..", OR Cressida from Troilus and Cressida "Words, vows, gifts, tears.."

AHH! Any help on what might be overdone or just anything would be helpful.

Oh..and I might sing Someone Else's Story from Chess...

Any thoughts??

I don't know how the audition process for the singing part goes, but I think you should pick a different song. A song that really shows off your range. Someone Else's Story just wouldn't do it. That's my opinion. Hope it helps! =]

I'm totally in the same boat with you right now. Grad school auditions approaching and not satisfied with the monologues I have. Monologues suck so much. They aren't acting.

I'd love to talk to you about where you're applying sometime...
