Greatest moment ever!!!!

My school just finished performing Footloose, and the majority of my fellow cast members were all going to Prom the following weekend. Well wouldn't you know it when we were standing around dancing someone requested Footloose (kenny loggins of course) and the entire cast that was in attendance all ran into one humongous crowd and started doing all of the choreography from the show!!!! It was so GREAT!!! Has that ever happened to any of yall?

No, at my school dances they always used to play rap music *gag*. That does sound really fun though!

haha thats fun. ive never had a moment exactly like that. but one year at the homecoming dance the song "i like big butts" started playing and a bunch of my guy friends ran up to the top of the bleachers in the gym where the dance was and faced the wall and started shaking their butts out to everyone on the dance floor and dancing for us. and some other guys ran up there and joined them. it was hilarious. of course me and my guys were all the drama kids.... haha that was fun, ill allways remember that.

Almost the same exact thing happened to me when I was in high school!!!!! Our show that year was THE SONG OF NORWAY and at the prom some guy went up to the bandleader and asked if the pianist could handle Grieg's Piano Concerto in G Minor. Well, wouldn't you know the entire cast of NORWAY got up and not only danced to it but sang the lyrics to it that had been written just for the show. They went something like "I hear that Norway is singing just for me". We really sang it at the top of our lungs. It was 'way cool!

Ooooo. This happened at our theatre awards thing last winter. They started playing Green Eggs and Ham from Seussical. And the entire cast got up and did the entire song. I thought it was quite impressive that we remembered it all considering it had been several months since the show.

I was not in the cast but participated in this anyway. A dear friend was getting married and she had played Sandy on tour in "Grease" . As alot of the attendees were also performers, when the dj went to "Born to Hand Jive" she was put @ the front of the room and everyone who could got up & did the choreography. Very spontaneous and lottsa fun. Best wedding I ever was at!
