Ok folks, it's very early morning here and I'll be leaving for the airport soon. Can't wait to get back.
Our dancer received an *encouragement award* = one thousand euros. I'm still a bit shocked as he was flawless and did tricks (smoothly and artistically) that none of the other dancers did. Three dance awards and one choreography award went to Americans from Boston Ballet. The head juror is the Artistic Director of Boston Ballet.
Any how, I've seen and learned a lot here. My dancer performed on the gala and was called back on to bow three times. Only the gold medal senior female and the grand prix winner got that many bows.
Leaving soon. Thanks for all of the good wishes and see you at the Tonys. (smile)

Glebby! Congrats to your dancer...(even if it didn't turn out exactly the way you expected!) I saw the link to the results, and saw some of the pictures! WOW!

And...I had a nice surprise waiting for me when I got home this evening.
