The best musical in town; both acts. :)
Searing performance by Christine Ebersole that would win the Tony hands down if the show were on Bway. Mary Louise Wilson is awesome.
Matt C is better in Act Two than in Act One. Still, his biggest asset is his body. Pose in Playgirl, Matt.
A show that is chilling, campy, and bittersweet; echoes of Gypsy, Dear World, Follies, and Edward Albee.

Since I haven't seen a more recent post on this show, I'm just going to comment here:
First of all, I'm so glad it was extended (twice) or I would never have been able to see it. I saw the show last night and I think the best part of the show was Christine Ebersole. Absolutely stunning. I agree, if she could be up for a Tony, she would definitely win so I'm hoping she gets the Drama Desk award. Her performance was genius.
I'm so glad they decided to release a cast recording!
