Oh my... love love love them. As a child I remember going to my grandfather's farm and picking them off the trees, and going home and making jam.

Guava juice is a bit too thick and bland for my taste... but the fruit is good.

Mango is what I really love.

Oh, and as a child there was a relative who used to bake birthday cakes. These were delicious cakes, but we hated the guava jelly that she used in between the layers.
"I don't want any Cuban cake," my cousins and I would say.

Today, naturally, I recognize how truly delicious these cakes were, and, oh, how I would love to have a slice.
