Take that, Supersize Me guy. McDonald's can be as healthy as the next place.
"Chris Coleson of Richmond, VA ate mostly McDonalds' salads and wraps for six months to drop his gut."
Gawker
that's kind of cool actually.
He probably lost an organ or two along the way.

The salads aren't bad- 300-400 calories if you use the low fat dressings.
You gotta be really careful when you start cutting that many calories and only eating those foods. You can lose weight eating any place or anything.

Having just had a Grilled Southwest Chicken Salad from said establishment, I could make that meal a daily habit.

When people say McDonald's, they often think of French fries, chicken nuggets and hamburgers...which are fried/greasy and a ton of calories.
While I'm sure McDonald's salads and wraps aren't the healthiest, they are much better than what the average person thinks of when they think of McDonald's food.
weird
It's all about how many calories you cut down to. Not necessarily where/what you're eating.
Makes me love Mickey D's even more! lol lol
After reading this, maybe Vanna really did eat that meatloaf!

Why do I have the feeling McDonalds compensated him for his efforts?
Dr. Christine Gerbstadt, a spokesperson for the American Dietetic Association, called Mr. Coleson's plan of 1,200 to 1,400 calories per day a "starvation diet."
Umm...yeah. I give him 6 months to gain it back....
I thought for sure this was going to have something to do with a tapeworm.

The grilled chicken wraps are very healthy, especially if have them leave out the cheese.
