I thought my tv was broken when that commercial came on.
Oh, it's not just on during the Price is Right.
CNN plays it ALL DAY. And as someone who's office has CNN on everyday for 9 hours, I am not lying when I say ALL DAY.
Thank you for creating this thread.
I just sent an email to my friends a few days ago complaining about this commercial. I am glad other people have seen this! (misery loves company)

Isn't it just another version of tiger balm?
My bf will spontaneously break into this through out the day.
But the best part of the commercial is the end, when the repitition stops
"HEAD ON! Apply directly to the forehead
HEAD ON! Apply directly to the forehead
HEAD ON! Apply directly to the forehead
HEAD ON! Availible at Walgreens."
We love how the announcer's voice drops in tone for the Walgreens line at the end. It's what makes reciting it in unision fun.
And we love that the site-that-will-not-be-named has a clip of it that loops for a solid three minutes. If you thought the 15-second spots annoyed you...
Did anyone see on "the-site-that-must-not-be-named" the spoof of Head On with the guy rubbing glue, a vacuum, toilet paper, and other random objects on his forehead?
I tend to tune out commercials, but every time that one comes on I DO hear it -- I think part of what's so annoying about it is that it IS effective.
But, can you imagine being the actress who did this commercial?
I wonder if she credited it three times on her resume:
HEAD ON!---PRINCIPLE/V-O---APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE FOREHEAD
HEAD ON!---PRINCIPLE/V-O---APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE FOREHEAD
HEAD ON!---PRINCIPLE/V-O---APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE FOREHEAD

OMG, this commercial is so annoying! The first time I saw it I was like "Ok I got it the first time, you don't need to keep repeating it." What's bad is that it comes on several times a day and really gets irritating. I saw it at least 3 times when watching court shows. I've gotten to the point now where I just tune it out.

True, it is a very annoying commericial. Things could be worse......they could be advertising Monistat.

What always bewildered me was: why isn't she applying it directly to her forehead. She's just simply hovering it over her head, but, as if she's afraid it would kill her...I ain't buyin' it!

Are you sure? It looks like she's applying it directly to her forehead...

I saw this commercial back to back (with the same voice) last night. Oy.

There is now "Active On"- apply directly to where it hurts (I think that's what it says)
They show someone putting it on a sprained ankle.
I really wonder how many people actually buy it.

I HATE this commercial. We get it you put it on your forehead, you only have to say it once!
I figured out this is why God invented the "mute" button.
I really wonder how many people actually buy it.
I do, but I feel in love with it before I saw the commerical.

I just saw a new ad for it.
It starts with the repetition:
HEAD ON! APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE FOREHEAD!
Then it is interrupted and a woman comes on mocking it, "Head on... apply directly to the forehead... I hate your commercial, but I love your product."
The new commercials are pretty brilliant. I have to hand it to them.

There is also a new product by the makers of Head On. It's called Active-On. Apply directly to where it hurts.
