Yes, Ann Miller played Dolly in a brief tour of the show--I believe it was mostly in Reno.

Somebody named TEACHEROFTHEATRE (or was it GARRYSILVERMAN--and don't you forget it?)wanted to know about the inserted tap dance in the Miller production. Now jimmyrae wants the same information. (I think they're all one and the same).

Anyhow, Miller's "tap dance" was little more than the few clog steps that Minnie Fay does in "Dancing" in most productions, although Ginger Rogers did those few steps when she played the role.
