I need an uptempo Broadway song (duh) and a ballad for my upcoming audition for Broadway Artists Alliance..
I'm a male and a tenor, please list some suggestions! I also want songs that aren't that popular at auditions...AKA no RENT, Wicked, Spring Awakening, etc.
PLEASE HELP!
I'm a professional. Whenever something goes wrong on stage, I know how to handle it so no one ever remembers. I flash my %#$&.

Nota bene: this has quite a driving tempo, faster than most people can sight read. Take your own accompanist.
Nobody sings this song any more. They didn't sing it "then" either.
Then start listing to old cast recordings. Or just recordings of standards from what is now called The Great American Songbook. Get a song library into your head.
