Yeah, not a pretty picture. He looked rabid.
He's supposed to be a zombie type creature, I think they look cool but that is the best look at one you ever get.
They're impossible to see (as is everything) in the movie.

I think he is talking about Farley, Taz.
DEEP RED is my favorite horror movie of all time, followed closely by SUSPIRIA. Y'all know my Argentobsession tho, so there we are...
For fans of CARRIE, you may want to check out DePalma's first foray into the genre, SISTERS, which is availible on Criterion Dvd and has one of my favorite split-screen sequences in any film, and a bone-chilling Bernard Hermann score (electronic to boot!)... and Margot Kidder is excellent as is Jennifer Salt...
TWIN PEAKS: FIRE WALK WITH ME is probably number three on my Top 3, particularly the last 20 minutes which are among the most tangibly terrifying images I have ever seen. If you don't like Lynch, though, it may be all too bizarre for you to take...
I would say Miike has produced possibly the scariest films mentioned here in this thread, though not traditional straight-up horror... I highly recommend, if you can handle it, his trilogy of terror: AUDITION, VISITOR Q and IMPRINT (which is the SCARIEST - or at least most gory - of the three). GOZU is my favorite Miike film, but more Lynch eerie-ness than horror (unless you find lactation particularly scary)...
... it's been so long since a new horror movie impressed me (including Argento's LA TERZE MADRE, the 2nd sequal to SUSPIRIA (INFERNO, the other sequel, I love, but it's not really horror save the underwater sequence and the last 20 minutes)) that I've almost given up hope. I will say I love Tarantino's DEATH PROOF and not only because of the fact that it is pretty much a musical and has about 20 references to Argento and Morricone's scores for his films...
With taz speaking so highly of TRICK R TREAT maybe a new addition to my collection is in order....

I'm watching 'The Haunted History of Halloween' on History.
Last night I had a triple-threat-of-terror: Argento's PELTS, DePalma's SISTERS and PUMPKINHEAD!
I had a BLAST, though PELTS gets better every time I see it!
Argento + Meat Loaf + sexy les. strippers with tons of attitude = heaven (or hell)

Am I the only who doesn't really care for Halloween? I usually just want to get Halloween over with so we can get into the Holiday season.

I'm always happy as hell from October to January.
No Halloween is complete without The Nightmare Before Christmas and Hocus Pocus.
