Since my last post I've watched Wes Craven's Shocker, which is not nearly as bad as I had been lead to believe - Lucio Fulci's Zombie Flesh Eaters, a lot of gruesome fun - Evilspeak, boring to begin with, outdated, but with genuinely scary moments - and Dario Argento's Deep Red, which was my favorite of them all. Where has it been all my life? I need to watch more "giallo"s.
I will be starting on Masters of Horror tonight.
Edit - I just watched Cigarette Burns where the cinema featured was playing "Profondo Rosso". Spooky.
Also, grr, autocorrect/predictive text, apologies, I am using an unfamiliar device. I may make a horror movie myself about the stresses of technology, but that's probably been done already.
