Okay, darlin's: Partied with Charles Shaw last night and I'm feelin' it this morning. Just out of curiosity, what are your favorite hangover cures? I've heard of grease (fries, fried chicken, etc.), Prarie Oysters (never tried it, never will) and the stuff you give babies when they have diarrhea to keep them hydrated.
Any others?

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

Pedialite is excellent!

MickeyD's works, too.

Also...have some bitters in club soda.

aspirin (not ibuprofin, the blood thinning properties of aspirin help eliminate headaches as your brain is dehydrated and blood vessels that are thinner hurt less), fluids (pedialite and or gatorade and or seltzer) and eat something (eggs, toast, etc.) sooner rather than later even if you feel ike it's coming back up.

I've always heard the best way to prevent a hangover is to not stop drinking.

I know someone who did that on a trip to London. She woke up the morning after the day she arrived, hung over and jet lagged and decided to be drunk throughout the entire trip. Apparently, it worked!

Yup. If you are constantly drunk, you can't get a hangover

Aspirin before you go to be, lots of water, and a cup of strong golden seal tea. The tea is nasty, but if you can get it down and keep it down, it works wonders.

Hey, Vish, add a little honey to the mix and you have my mama's very special home made cough syrup.

Drink a couple glasses of Gatorade and take a couple aspirin BEFORE you go to bed and all should be well. Unless you've just been stupid about drinking at which point your body's going to need to get rid of it and you're screwed until you do.

I'm not a drinker, but I think those new "non-hangover" pills that you take before you start drinking are a bit scary.

I mean, I don't think I'd wanna' put something in my body that would erase all the affects of alchohol. It seems strange to me, that's all. I don't know, maybe I'm just young and stupid, but there hasn't been any time to see what affects could come from taking something like that.

Iflit, it must be all-purpose. My mother used to give me whiskey and lemon juice for whatever ailed me (and she's an OB/GYN!).

Hydration is the key. Gingerale works well tylenol/aspirin for headache,. Best way is to PREVENT it by drinking 1 glass of h20 for every 2 alcoholic beverages.
