Actually it says "PUN'KIN Pie," thus the confusion.
Maybe someday Miley will learn to pronounce p's, even when they come after m's, tho maybe no one learnt her that.

I can't find it at the moment but there recently was a similar story.
A child won a prize in a restaurant in one of those grab machines....you put in money and then you move the grabber to pick up prize.
The father was sure the doll she won was cursing.

Oh I TOTALLY think this is just a problem with the song itself! haha
Hanson did the song for their Snowed In album (yes, I still break it out every year- do not judge, they're amazing haha), and it's ALWAYS sounded like Zac was saying "f**kin' pie" to me!

I think you just reeeeally really have to enunciate "pumpkin" or else it sounds like swearing. It's just funny that this has been brought up because EVERY single time I listen to that song (the Hanson version at least), I'm like "I know he wasn't swearing but it SURE sounds like it!" lol
But yeah, honestly? That little girl wouldn't be hearing that word if she didn't know it from somewhere else already 
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.
