I have reached a state of true ambivalence with regards to Valentine's Day. I neither think it's a wonderful opportunity to tell your other half how much they mean to you, nor do I think "OMG you should tell them that all year round anyway!". I don't feel sad that I'm single, and if I were in a relationship I'd probably feel embarrassed to have a fuss made of me.
