My father is a Vietnam war veteran and I never really had the guts to ask him about his war injuries (He had been shot and his leg was amputated.) until now for a thing I'm working on. Extremely hard to listen to, but I'm glad I did. I had no idea he was a part of the very start of the Tet Offensive.
