I love that they're trying to peddle this thing like they just invented it. My mom had the same thing from The Pampered Chef 15 years ago.

Um...I think it's a parody, but not a very good one. That's Frank DeCaro who's a comedy writer. Usually he's much funnier.

Maybe it's the Logo version of the slap chop commercial. Is Sham-Wow next?

Out of curiousity I went to the website listed at the end of the commercial. You can buy the "Happy Chop" there, though it's just listed as a food chopper, so it's for real.

It definitely was a much tamer version of Frank DeCaro than you usually see. Normally he has me laughing out loud, with this I cracked a smile at a couple moments, but that's about it.
