A truly beautiful soul and amazing person. My personal hero.

I think the best way to sum up what an amazing person he was, is just to quote his last words. "Please, watch out for each other," he says "Love everyone and forgive everyone, including yourself. Forgive your anger, forgive your guilt, your shame, your sadness. Embrace and open up your love, your joy, your truth and most especially, your heart. Let us all have mercy on each and every one of us. And every day, we will all open uplike a cacoon, and turn into beautiful butterflies and live this moment, and the next, and the next, and the next." - Jim Henson

I am so grateful for him. I've thought since I was a little kid (when I did a biography project on him) about how much I would have loved to meet him. I can't wait to see the new Jim Henson exhibit in Chicago!

I did too! In fourth grade. :)

I've been to the exhibit twice. Once in Baton Rouge, LA and earlier this year in Jackson, MS. It's fantastic!!

I have the recent documentary about him coming in next on my Netflix queue. Truly an amazing man who did everything he could to leave the world a better place than he found it.
