I had fun...but find discount stuff. Don't pay the $30...it's not THAT good.

When I went there was no line...and I think it's worth it. It was a lot of fun and they look really real. (I'm talking about the one in new york.) It's fun that they let you take pictures and touch the figures. (You can get some really fun photos!)

It's large too.

There is no Madame Tussauds in LA. And the Hollywood Wax museum is crap.

The one in London is astounding. They really do look lifelike. And the one in New York is pretty good as well.

I went to the one in Amsterdam. It was very good. We went because we had nothing better to do, and there was no line. We enjoyed it, tough I personally wouldn't stand in line to go to a wax museum.

If you visit the Madame Tussaud's in NY, be sure to visit the special gallary on the 3rd floor; it's a display of all the Corines--every friggin' one of them!

DP - It is always a mystery to me why you act like a 12 year-old and victimize people without provocation. Either you get rocks off from being cruel or you are more immature than your students. I read that moving "tribute" by Yenta and wondered who she was talking about. It was obviously a persona from long ago that you left behind. Whatever you may say about Corine, she handles herself in a far more mature and personable manner than anything I've seen from you.

The second guideline of the board is:

"No personal attacks - we all have different opinions - disagree with the view, not with the person."

You attack people personally constantly without any provocation whatsoever and have been allowed to do so for quite a while. I've always wondered why this is. And I've always wondered why people are so eager to jump on the band wagon. nothing about this thread had anything to do with Corine, yet you have chosen to make fun of her for no reason and try to drag her into this and etoile jumps on the bandwagon like its a junior high cafeteria. You teach kids and claim to be a devout Christian. Well, the hypocrisy and cruelty reminds me of Christians, but not Christianity.

Hmmm, I sense another big BWW feud building up ! re: Has anyone gone to Madam Tussauds wax museum?
On Topic, I've been to the London and NYC ones. They are fun and a nice experience and that's all. In London, the line was HUGE ! In NYC, when I went, there was no line at all, but I've seen days where there was quite a big one waiting to get in. I'd suggest to avoid weekends ! Have fun !

re: Has anyone gone to Madam Tussauds wax museum?

No feud is necessary. I'm just getting tired of this kind of stuff being allowed to continue. When threads are created strictly to be mean to someone for absolutely no reason (which DP has done many times), then I don't understand why the guidelines are posted.

As for the topic, I'm not fond of wax museums. I visited the one in San Antonio and it was ok, but to pay as much as Tussauds charges to look at fake celebrities is like flushing money down the toilet. Buy a cast recording. It'll support theatre and last longer.
