Dear all, I have one ticket (G-404) available for tomorrow night's South Pacific. Please let me know if you are interested! I just need whatever I paid for the ticket (meaning, $120 and a little handling fee). Thank you!
I saw it tonight...well, Tony was definitely not my most favorite Max. Well, if they thought he was OK, then I guess it was OK...well, tonight was the first night. See how it goes for a while...
Now...Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? will be in DC. The tickets will be on sale late this fall...Glad I could see Bill again. http://www.kennedy-center.org/calendar/index.cfm?fuseaction=showEvent&event=THTSJ
Wow...what a strange night. About 30 min into Act 1...there was a technical difficulty and the desk Roz Ryan was sitting was not moving to where it is supposed to be...Roz was improvising to keep the show going, but the curtain came down. Then the announcement; "Here we will have an intermission" We waited about 5 min...then Harry Connick, Jr. came out in front of hte curtaina and start talking. I know today is Drama Desk Awards night, but for us, Roger Bart fans, Desperate Housewives Season Finale night. Our beloved Roger Bart will be in the episode..I think. That will make it worth watching:)
So...I went to see his first day:) He looks so comfortable on the stage. It looked like people around me were the first timers, and they enjoyed it so much. Roger was as charming as ever, and so funny! And the whole cast were great, too. Cannot get this show enough. Does the fact that Roger was on DH change the response from the audience? Maybe. I think I can have a nice dream tonight. My happy couple of months started!
...and Roger Bart would come back to the show...I know some migh say "not again" but I cannot get enough his LEO. The show is like a huge family and I just want to enjoy as is. If they leave, good for them, if not, also good for them. (Sorry, a bit off-topic but you guys were talking about The Producers so much...)
