It seems like it would adapt nicely to the Broadway stage.

Oh god no! Besides, nothing can ever top Legally Blonde. We ALL know that's the best movie-musical EVAR! Duh!

LOL Rav. It would be a horrible musical. Nuns? Nazis? It would never work.

I think they should adapt MY FAIR LADY to the stage. That would be AMAZING!

Yeah right Rav. I mean can any number ever match the brilliance of "OMIGOD YOU GUYS!". Even if that Sondheim fellow (who is quite an up-and-coming talent) were to adapt it, it wouldn't stand a chance.

Before any of this Sound of Music and my Fair Lady nonsense takes a shot at being performed on stage... I think the great state of Oklahoma deserves to be honored...and I think it should be a musical.

Yes, definitely. A musical. And it should include a song where they have to spell the name of the state.

Please, ww, this Sondheim fellow will never make it. Good looks can only take you so far...you need talent.

Well you seem to have a grudge Rav! Just because that new Sondheim show might take the Hilton doesn't mean you have to hate him. Geez.

But, it's a moot point, as I said, nothing could make this movie into a musical. It just doesn't work.

Is that the movie that stole from the Gwen Stefani song?

Well, it might work, if they can just figure out how to bring the entire Alpen range into the theatre. Maybe they could have the audience sitting onstage, on the ledges and cliffs.

But how would they do the opening? And the canoes on the lake? It can't be done on stage. Silly idea.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Sondheim is a commercially driven hack. His lyrics have no substance.

Julie Taymor could do it, with little puppets and things.

Please, wonderwaiter. The real hack is that Hammerstein guy. He doesn't belong on Broadway.

And, are they supposed to cart in truckloads of sod to create the Alps. Doesn't sound very cost-effective or tidy to me.

Perhaps creative use of platforms and scaffolding. A minimalist approach.

Idina Menzel could play Maria and Norbert Leo Butz could play Von Trapp. I think this worth doing and could possibly win some Tony Awards.

Nuns with Tubas. Nazis with triangles. Kids with flutes, clarinets and oboes. Captain Von Trapp with a trumpet. Maria, of course, with the whistle. And the Mother Superior conducting everything from the piano. With a clicker.

I'm still waiting for the stage version of HELLO, DOLLY!
And they better get Streisand to reprise her screen role because she was just amazing in the film. No one else could do that role justice. NO. ONE.

The Sound Of Music is WAY too gay for Broadway. Ugh.

I recently tried to get tickets to Good Vibrations, but it's sold out for months!

Please. Lestat is sold out for at least two years.

Too bad that "Wicked" show doesn't have the same sucess. Only lasted a couple of months. That was a shame.
