Okay guys, so I have to e-mail my voice teacher with the year Maury Yeston wrote Phantom, because we have to put it on my NATS sheet for musical theatre, and I can't find it anywhere. Can you amazing people that can find anything help me? I've tried for a while with no results. Thanks guys!

Wouldn't the copyright date be enough? Do you need the year he actually sat at his keyboard and plucked out the tunes?

Honey, he didn't wake up one morning, sit down, and write the whole thing by dinnertime.

It was written over the course of 1983. That should be MORE than sufficient information for your teacher.

(of course, it wasn't *performed* until about a million years later, but then again, it's not very good, so who can place blame? :-P)
