Help Needed

Does anyone know how to fix a sound card randomly stopping working? My computer doesn't even recognize that I have one anymore, and I've tried everything, but I can't figure it out.

The first thing you should do is try taking it out, and putting it back in. If that doesn't work, put it back in, in a different PCI slot.
