Posted: 6/21/06 at 10:51amI've gone brain dead. There used to be a terrific theatre magazine - all in black in white - with photos, articles, etc. I've completely forgotten the name. Can someone help?

Posted: 6/21/06 at 10:56amThey're not b&w, but American Theatre and Show People both come to mind as being theatre magazines that are widely available......well, AT is much more available than SP, which I've only ever seen in NY and have to subscribe to...AT can be picked up at Borders, B&N, etc., even down in FL.

Posted: 6/21/06 at 12:29pmThere was also InTheater, which came about after TheaterWeek folded. I love shuffling through my back issues of both magazines and reliving theater of the nineties.

Oh, really? I wasn't aware of that. The last issue I got was either the winter or spring one..I think that Cynthia Nixon was on the cover? *tries to remember*
I don't think that I got a letter saying that they had stopped the magazine. Thank you for the heads up--I would have been wondering where my next issue was soon!

Posted: 6/21/06 at 3:32pmI just got a new Show People in the mail yesterday, and it didn't seem like the last one or anything. There's also Playbill, which is a playbill sized theatre magazine that playbill.com sends out. They have black and white too.
