I'm trying to send a pdf file that's 32.95 MB but neither my outlook nor my gmail can send a file that large. They have a limit of 25 MB.
The original document was 48 pages.
I received a document from someone yesterday that 188 pages, but only 23.2 MB
Is there a way that I can change the size of my pdf file?
Sincerely,
pdf challenged person

Pending a better response from a techno-savvy person, I will tell you the stupid way that I recently dealt with that situation.
Using my PDF print program, I printed the document in four stages---it was 100+ plages--the first 100 pages as four, 25-page pdf files and the balance in a fifth file. I then attached the files to separate e-mails.

I actually tried that Addison. But even 12 pages was too large a file.
I also tried to zip it, but alas that didn't work either.
I was trying to find some help online, and some people were mentioning that there was a way to reduce the size of the file's MB in adobe. I can't seem to find that option/tool in my adobe program though.

You can just upload it to yousendit.com or sendthisfile.com or any other free service like that and send the download link to your recipient.

Taz, can you compress/zip the file? It depends on whether you are running the free application (Reader) or the actual licensed application (Acrobat). I believe in acrobat you can save the original document to a smaller, compressed file.

Dropbox?
I use it for all of my huge files.
And I laughed out loud,SonofMammaMiaSam!

Aha, I have the free version that's exactly why I couldn't reduce it.
Regarding zipping it, I right clicked on the file and it was an option so I figured it would work. It gave me what looked like a zipped version (with the little zipper on the folder) but it didn't go through so maybe it didn't really zip it (?)
PJ, I'm gonna try your link. Thanks so much for all your help!

Oh, right--the cloud.
If you are on G-mail, you can upload it to your G-drive and then send someone permission to access it.

I used SendThisFile and it went without any problems.
Thanks again!
