Hey 9/6-ers: It's 9/7 already!

I just wanna give a heartfelt shout out to everybody who joined these boards on September 6, your Dales and your Equity2s and whats and whonots and to tell them something I just know they're wanting to hear: BRKLYN totally rocks and I know this without seeing it because it's up to me to make it the biggest most daringly original show that Broadway has ever seen. And it is bringing new audiences to the world of theatre!

I had to check the date not only on my watch, but on my tv, calendar and computer just to make sure it was true.

I'm sorry , but it's still really tough for me to talk about 9/6.

I can talk about BROOKLYN 'cause it ROOOCCCKKKSSS!

But please, let's keep our emotions about 9/6 to ourselves, it's still too fresh and raw in my mind.

I prayed to the Baby Jesus last night that they would still be here today. I guess he didn't answer my prayers. Maybe I should have prayed to the grown up Jesus since a baby wouldn't know what the hell to do anyways.

Ummm, Matt, I know you wouldn't know this because you're a Jew and all...but Jesus? Dead.

Ah yes, 9/6. I remember it well. It was time of rainbows and fairy tales, when pumpkins turned to coaches and dreams came true. Whatever happened to those days of innocence and those who believed?

It was on 9/6 that Winnie and I shared our first kiss. A kiss we would always remember, even after we had said our goodbyes and parted ways. Those were days of, well, Wonder.

The baby Jesus isn't so much dead as he is busy guiding the sheep in the flock toward the magical opening of... you guessed it - BROOKLYN.
I sing for myself. I sing when I want, whenever I want to, just for me. I sing for my own pleasure. Do you understand that?

It's all making so much sense now! Leading us all into the garden of EDEN.

Yeah, I think the Vatican is funding the show.

Oh my god Amy. Compared to some lyrics I have been reading lately, that is sheer unadulterated genius.
