Hey, if I burn a Karaoke CD, will a Karaoke Machine read it as a Karaoke CD?

I'm currently on Rhapsody (completely legal setup for burning, no fear), and I was search for Sweeney Todd to see if they had an entree for the new one yet. I accidently did the search as an artist (as in "artist: Sweeney Todd) and a Broadway Karaoke CD came up. I bought a Karaoke Machine for Christmas, but the two CDs it came with both suck and it won't read any regualr CDs.

So, can anyone help me out? I'd rather have at least some idea what would happen before any burnning, as they charge for burnning CDs.
