Okay, so my friend and I have decided to do a duet for our schools talent show this spring. Trouble is, we can't decide on a song. We're both talented high sopranos (not trying to brag, but it is true), so anything falling in that range is great. We could also do a soprano/mezzo piece as well.
And yes, I've already seen this thread,

but I just wanted some more suggestions. Classical, Broadway, pop, whatever. I just want some input!
Thanks!

Falling in Love With Love from Boys from Syracuse is a soprano song could easily be split up into a duet.
I don't know about musical theatre stuff, but there are some amazing soprano duets in The Marriage of Figaro. I highly recommend the letter duet between Susanna and the Countess. There's also a great one between Susanna and...a character who's name and entire point in the story I seem to forget. But they are stuck in a doorway and insulting one another. How that helped! Best of luck!

I know a good mezzo piece if "In His Eyes" from Jekyll & Hyde...it goes quite high for the top part, but still not too low on the bottom....my roomate and I did this for a musical theatre review last November, it worked out really well!!
Hope you find a piece to do soon!!

A Boy Like That/I Have a Love from West Side Story. It's a soprano and alto - if either of you have a lower range, it's a heart-wrenching piece with tond of guts and glory.

wow, thanks everyone!
we're thinking What is this Feeling? from wicked, but still undecided. I do like In His Eyes.. I saw a high school perform Jekyll & Hyde last night and that song almost made me cry.
and I'll look in to those others that I've not heard of.
What You Don't Know About Women from City of Angels is really fun... my friend and I are both Sopranos as well (I'm high, she's mezzo-ish) and we had a blast. :)
Way Back to Paradise from Marie Christine, although one part is mezzo-y
