First off, why a remake? This trend of remaking movies is just pathetic! So, I think Faye may have been a tad PO'd just because of that alone. However, you now are remaking a classic with someone like Hillary Duff? I get chills down my spine when I think who they may be considering for Clyde.

If Hillary just kept her mouth shut she would have shown some class. Instead she just sort of proves Faye's point. A dumb young 20 something who happens to have made a film or two. There are more qualified actresses out there who would be better than Hillary. I agree 100% with Faye.

Stupidest thing she could have done. I like how she says her piece, pauses and looks like she's done talking, and THEN goes on to mention how she'd be mad if she looked like that too. Girl doesn't know when to stop. Regardless of whether Faye "started it" or not (and I wouldn't say that), she's a legend. Hilary is not. And now she looks like an idiot.

P.S. - ...she still has a fan base?

Faye Dunaway had every right to say what she did. I mean Bonnie was one of her signature pieces and now some bimbo girl is trying to slip into that spot. Let's see- how many Academy Awards have you won or ever been nominated for Hilary? How many box office movies have you starred in- and not just the Lizzie McGuire movie? I can't believe Hilary used the "looks " dig- especially since Dunaway is 69- she's at least EARNED her acting chops. Okay, DON"T EVEN get me started on this! Hillary- YOU ARE WAY OUT OF YOUR LEAGUE!
