I know there is a thread about Bell and Shepard, but this movie really deserves a separate thread. I normally would be not support someone skipping a movie with Kristin Chenoweth, but this one is too painful to recommend.
The whole thing was baffling, had horrible dialogue and plot holes you could drive through (yes I went there). My friend said he felt drunk at the end. It reminded me of that great exchange from Ghost World when Johansson says, "This so bad it's good," and Birch replies, "This is so bad it's passed good and gone back to bad again."
At one point Chenoweth suggested mixing Xanax with wine or beer to amplify the effect. I have the beer if someone in HK wants to meet up with some Xanax. I really need it.

Kristin Chenoweth just doesn't know how to pick a good script does she?

I love Bell too. I thought Kristen and Kristin in the same movie?! This is going to be awesome, at least on some level. It takes a lot to get me to a movie after noon when they're not $7. After the first scene my friend and I knew we were in for a long night.
It was a vanity project. Dax is credited as director, writer and producer and Bell is also a co-producer. They obviously called up their friends to make cameo appearances and made this horribly unfunny and unrealistic movie.
tazber- If you feel so possessed to go at least be a little baked.

taz- In addition to the aforementioned beer I also have a bottle of tequila in my freezer :)
wynbish- Arnold plays gay in these one (sorry for any upset stomachs this news might cause), and is involved in the only funny subplot of the film.
SLIGHT SPOILER
A gay cop in town likes using his iPhone app "Pounce" to hook up with other guys. It works just like Scruff or Growlr. He finds Arnold through the app and continues to follow him through the app.

saw Hit and Run last night too, and it was in the end thought it was almost crazy enough to recommend just see how cracked out the whole thing was. It is an absolutely awful film, with some of the dumbest plot points I have seen. (An Example: Kristen Bell's Character goes to her ex boyfriend's house to get her teaching certificate which she left in the back a photo album!!!!!)
To the film's credit there were two hilarious cameo's towards the end that almost (stress almost) made the whole thing worth it.
I don't think I will ever forget the chase sequence set to Willy Wonka's Pure Imagination. (The Jazz remix?!!)
Kristin was fine in her 7 lines she had, and I totally understand why she took the role as it was a good fit for her and she probably shot everything in two hours.
Tom Arnold's character early on was painful, but the two cops and the pouncer subplot was actually pretty funny.
Sadly the moments I have mentioned make about 20 minutes in what was a VERY slow hour and and forty minute film. That said, it you were drunk or high you might find this movie awesome. A good watch on cable at 3am.
