enclavijado... pero no tiene el mismo significado.
No sé qué palabra sería apropiada en este caso...

I'm back! What a wonderful trip. We had such a great time. I highly recommend visting Lisbon and Porto (Portugal) to EVERYONE. Beautiful cities and very reasonably priced. Plus, practically everyone speaks English (not that I consider that to be a requirement). Two of my favorite things were the Chinese Pavilion in Lisbon (a beverage "restaurant" kind of like a tea room with stunning atmosphere) and Cafeina restaurant in Porto, where I had the BEST Carpaccio and Beef Wellington ever.
I'm posting a few pics:
View of Lisbon from St. George Castle
Roman theatre in Mérida, Spain (they did a production of Sondheim's Forum in that location)
Bridge by Eiffel (as in Tower) in Porto, Portugal

hehehe Matt.......that must remain a secret.
You do know you have now set the bar, and thrown down the gauntlet for anyone else going on a great trip?
Steve saw the pix, looked at me and said, 'Well, you have to do that when we're in Europe'...as I'm taking my laptop with me.....

My favorite pic, for obvious reasons. (Porto)
Sadly, I did not venture into Paris. There simply did not turn out to be enough time and the weather was not good. I'm sure Jarico and I will go in the next few years, so I'm not too bummed about it. The trip we took was more than enough to satisfy.
Next, we are off to Disneyworld in July. I know, cheesy, but we're both looking forward to it.

I also visited Lisbon and Porto (we called it Lisboa and Oporto..I guess that's the Spanish names for them?) when I last visited Spain. BEAUTIFUL cities!!! Those pics are amazing, and take me back... I LOVED Portugal.
Glad you had fun!!!
