Wait...what? Her one break from recording style was Cheek to Cheek. The Fame + The Fame Monster, Born This Way and Artpop make of the rest of her discography. How is that one of the most diverse and impressive in contemporary pop? Obviously "impressive" is totally subjective, but as far as diverse... have you actually heard her albums all the way through? If so, you would know that even her last two albums alone covered a very wide and eclectic array of genres that most pop stars couldn't even touch: 80's dance, stadium rock, R&B, funk, EDM, metal, hip-hop, rock opera, piano ballads, country, and even mariachi.
Even when looked at as separate entities, her four pop albums sound
nothing like each other.
