Calvin, gay? Bah-ha-ha!

Vegan cheese doesn't have one of the preservatives that regular cheese does. That particular ingredient is made with the lining of the stomach (usually a cow's).

How dare you invade my privacy!

Be back later, guys! I'm going to run downstairs to the convenience store, maybe pick up a vitamin water, chat with the receptionist for a bit and then take the stairs back up. Got to get my exercise! Then I'll be at my desk from approximately 11:15 a.m. until 1 p.m., although I might have a call about 12:30. Then, a meeting, then I'll be back until the gym tonight, then home!

Heidi Van Pelt?

I utterly deny that she's a member of the family.

i'm sure they must have a company website, or at the very least some information on vegan cheese on their respective match.com profiles.

re: Home Improvement Kid in Bizarre Divorce

When I was a vegetarian, back in the day, I learned that the enzyme that makes milk turn into cheese is rennet. the rennet enzyme comes from aminal stomachs. So strict vegetarians would only eat rennetless cheese, which is made from a new rennet enzyme developed from plants.

Of course milk is an animal product. There are vegetarians that do milk and eggs but, generally speaking, a vegan, by definition, would not do milk or eggs. Maybe they really are milking the nuts?

I read the description for Mac & Cheeze using only rice protein - I second the opinion of "this couldn't be any less appetizing."

re: Home Improvement Kid in Bizarre Divorce

after i read this story in a magazine last week, i went to stop and shop and requested that they order some of that cheese :)

cashews are one of the few nuts i can eat so i was beyond thrilled to read about it.
i think i was more interested in the cheese part then the rest of the article.

i think the best hope TNS has now is a "home improvement" reunion show. i'm sure JTT and ZTB would be willing, and for that matter so would PR and TA.

What about Al? Is he still hosting "Family Feud"?

If not, Taran could always go share a house with Martika, Joe Millionaire, Tiffany Brissette, Mike Sciosia, Joe Piscopo and Ellen Albertini Dow on the latest version of "The Surreal Life."
