I had a friend who always said she couldn't give a toss if being gay was natural or not. The societies we live in are not natural, cities are not natural, cars are not natural, and so on and so forth. Being gay, she said, was a part of humanity, and whether or not it was natural was irrelevant to the discussion of whether it was acceptable or not.

She was very pro-gay, and I always found her argument interesting. Henrik's comment made me think of that, and in some way, I think she was right. Food for thought :)
