So the other day as I was driving into the City I went under an overpass and my XM radio went off for that second....then I started remembering as a child riding in the car, listening to the radio and your favorite song would come on and then your Dad would have to drive under an overpass and the radio would go off and you'd miss you favorite part of the song....so when the radio announcer said "Instant replay" you would get all excited and pray there were no more overpasses or tunnels. Ah memories.

I am sure that this has been covered in this thread, but can't you still remember the sound of an 8 track rewinding???

Snow here in Chicago - justa dusting, but not very Spring like. Wife's birthday today.

I don't know! Part of my 8-track years were also part of my high school partying years. I'm sure a brain cell or two died off back then.

I don't think you could rewind 8 tracks...and NO Girly...I still only have my turntable....got rid of all my 8 tracks.

Good morning...

the best thing about 8 tracks was how the song at the end of a "side" would be cut off... and the re-start on the other side.
