I just knew you'd have a snappy comeback. Really, though. Doesn't he have any of his old records?
Let us know how the pork chops turn out.

Girly...Bongo just got right rid of everything I think from his childhood...he may still have a couple of cassette tapes from college..other than that he travels light.

Posted: 1/26/05 at 8:00pmHe's kicking himself now. I could never do that. That would be like ripping my heart out, I think.

Posted: 1/26/05 at 8:03pmMe too..I still have my original Beatle albums...some I got for Christmas 1964...of course most of the jackets are gone.

Posted: 1/26/05 at 8:11pmI think I'm only missing one album jacket. Some might be taped up a bit, but for the most part in excellent condition. Yay, me!

Posted: 1/26/05 at 8:32pmI never managed to hang on to any of that Beatle stuff...and I had a ton of it. The trading cards, the bobble head dolls, all the albums, of course...and the official program from their first tour. My mom (!) took me to see them in Cleveland's Public Auditorium when I was in middle school. I can still remember the chill when the lights came up and there they were, on stage, in their matching blue suits. I loved John. Always.

Posted: 1/26/05 at 8:34pmThat would have been some fantastic stuff to have. I would've loved to have seen them. Wow! What an experience.

Iflit....I wish I had all that stuff...my Mom believed in throwing everything out...we had nowhere to store anything in a 4 room apartment, so everything went into the garbage.
She knew better with the records.
BTW..John was always and will always be my FAVORITE !!!!

Hey, Rath - I'm impressed - even iflit poked her head in here
I've been busy getting our tickets lined up for our New York trip - it's turning into the 'star-studded play revival' trip.

Rath - we're taking the red-eye the night af April 1st, and leaving the following weekend. Don't know about any meetings yet, as the couple we're traveling with hasn't settled on their plans.
In one 24 hour period we see Virginia Woolf, Glass Menagerie and Streetcar. There better be a fully stocked bar available at the end of that little stretch
