Doesn't mean I'm not gonna call him that anyway.

You'd better step back there, Girly girl.
well, to answer my own question i was still in public school when "Grease" came out. i was 8 years old. i remember watching the premiere party on WPIX Channel 11 in NYC. it was the movie to go see that summer.
my step-father would take us to see a movie every weekend, but we normally went to see what he wanted, which were basically action or horror flicks.
i tricked him into taking us to see "Grease" by telling him it was a movie about leather jacketed gangs in the 1950s (well, it wan't that much of a lie).
he took us to see it and i still laugh when i recall his reaction of "what the f$#@?!" when they started to sing up on screen. LOL.
a week later i co-erced my mother into buying me the 2 LP soundtrack... and those sucker weren't cheap back in the day!
and i remember all they would play on the radio were songs from "Grease" and "Saturday Night Fever".

Remind me to spank that Ellie next time she steps into our playground.
Marquise..you were 8 in 1978?....damn I could get arrested for things I've thought about you.
See now you got the kids calling me Grandma, bdwaygirl!
I'm sure it was just a typo on Ellie's part. She did go back to the playpen, right? Which means she's not a very good typist.
