not sure if he is my "TRUE" love - but i'm feeling pretty goofy when he's around. Yesterday he walked away from me to go to the bathroom and I was thinking "no, don't go!" Haha...that sounds absolutely crazy - but I am serious. He could be the one. The only thing that scares me is he is 7yrs younger than me. Emotionally, mentally, etc - he is everything my equal - he is incredibly mature. I just worry that he's still got much to experience and I'd never want to hold him back. Wow - I think I just overshared with total strangers. What would we do without the internet?

That is so nice...I am happy for you. How did you meet? Don't worry about the age thing, it is simply a number. My boyfriend is 9 years younger and in his prime and I feel the same way. Am I holding him back, etc. . He is off doing his thing for the next 6 months while I am watching the house and dogs at home plus I am in my own show here for the next 3 months. (We switch on and off, one person tours while the other stays home)
When I was 23, (like him) I was out doing my natl tours and ships and stuff so now it is his turn to do the same. I am sure you aren't holding your sweetie back in any way.

Just be there for him and show your support and excitement whenever he lands a new gig and it will all be well.

Showme - I wouldn't worry about a seven-year age difference unless you're 21 and he's 14. You won't be holding him back from anything.

Showme - don't worry about the age difference. When we met, I was 23 and my partner was 39. We celebrated our 20th anniversary last April.

thanks for all of the encouragement folks...I'll be 26 in a couple of months and my boyfriend is 19. We have only been together for about 3 months, but before that we were pretty good friends. He graduated from high school with my younger sisters, so that makes it a little weird sometimes. Other than that - I love his brains out - seriously. I have never been with anyone before this whose character and spirit felt so complimentary to my own. So - if that is what "true love" feels like, I figure why not take the risk.
