1.) I am an actor. It is part of my job description.

2.) I grew up the gay theatre kid in amilitary/jock town VERY close to where VARSITY BLUES was filmed.. in fact, I was an extra in it (YES, it is REALLY like that here -- that film could be a documentary), and about an hour from Bush's ranch. Do the math. It was a defense mechanism

I've known plenty of actors who aren't witty offcamera/offstage. You have to have a certain amount of wit (read: brains) to be witty. Not all actors have it.

for ME it is a requirement. You have to have a certian amount of wit to put with the level of crap we actors have to put up with at times..
