I just started working at Payless and have become obsessed with shoes...I now own 12 pairs (yay for employee discounts!) And I was curious as to how many shows a "normal" person has? Yes, I am bored, and I realize this thread is lame
lol. i own too many to count so i wouldn't be considered normal.

BOGO + Employee discount = Alot of shoes.
Enjoy ur shoes
I will never understand people's obsession with shoes.
oooh..I used to work at Payless! The best part was that you could try on the shoes before everyone else! Just be careful...it can easily become an addiction!
Haha tell me about it, I was never a shoe person before I started working there...but the thing is, every night I have to walk up and dow nthe aisles making sure the shoes are in order, and the more I look at the shoes, the more I want them!! Haha it's a really good job though, much better than fast food.
I own way too many. Or way too little. I love shoes.
But I havent worn but two different pairs for the last couple: My jogging shoes, and rainbow sandals

Great topic!!! Shoes are about the only thing I will pay full price for. I have tons of dress shoes and stuff, but my favorite is the tennis shoe collection.
Converse : 2 Reds, black, white/pink, plaid, blue, tropical
Old school Vans: Pink/black checkered, soon to add polka dot (yay for paychecks)
It's not that large, but I can't afford that many.
Twenty-three pairs at last count.
I have a bit of a shoe fetish.
What I loved about my job at Payless was that it was in a strip mall and we closed at 9:00....no matter what. No holiday hours or special seasonal hours. I would be done by 9:30, while friends who worked at the mall would be stuck there until 11:00. And most days I was substitute teaching during the day and getting phone calls to go to schools at 5:30...so being home before 11:3O was a good thing!
I'm still saving my spare change for an outrageous pair of Chuck Taylors...yummy to CT's...
I'm addicted to shoes.
I have tons of flip flops and heels, and I love them all! Isn't it weird that I find heels more comfortable than tennis shoes?
18...not counting flip flops, havaianas, and those cheapo mary janes from canal st. Then again...I don't wear a good half of them on a regular basis. I don't have a footwear fetish...I just like to match.
I have a pair of sandals, dress shoes, and my Nikes. So....three.
2 ... one right, one left
65, for real, no lie.
Let's not get into clothes. I've lost count and room.
I only own two pairs...my skater shoes and my dress shoes...as opposed to my very metro brother and his over 20 pairs...I can't even imagine.

I owned only two pair of street shoes. some loafers and some flip flops.
Until my mother found out. Now I have three pairs of tennis shoes, seven pairs of flip flops, two pairs of highheels, and two pairs of birkinstocks.
not to mention my four pairs of jazz shoes (worn out, too big, just right, and sneaker), three pairs of taps (tel tone one screws, three screws, and character shoes) and three pair of character shoes (two hurt, the third are fanTASTIC, but I tore the strap in a quickchange.)
I have a few pairs for events that are appropriate
Flip Flops for summer
Tennis shoes for the Gym and everyday wear
Dress Shoes for Performances and formal occasions
Tall Boots because I can heheh

I forgot to mention my knee high boots. both leather (actually only one's real, PETA), both black, and one with a stileto heel and the other with a thick heel.
I would've been fine with just the lofers, flips, and dance shoes, though.
Thank you Marquise and Theatre Diva, I was starting to feel all alone.
I own upwards of 60 pairs, I lost count years ago.
