So if you want to start generalizing about "all people from Kansas" and making blanket statements, I take issue.

And yeah, sure they're a lot of freaks there. There are a lot of freaks everywhere, including your home state, wherever that may be.

THEY VOTED AGAINST EVOLUTION. they're dumb. as a whole the state is dumb. there may be pockets of resistence, but generally, they're dumb.

Born in New York City, raised in Lawrence, Kansas, since the age of five.

Lawrence is the exception to the rule in Kansas. It's home to the University of Kansas. The one "blue square" in a sea of red... Douglas County.

We have all types in Kansas. Just like your state.

And yes, we have a teeny tiny delegate count.

so, I don't know how the rest of the gop primaries stack up, but is there a chance that huckabee could win (enough of) the remaining states to prevent mccain from securing the nom? thus, creating a brokered convention for the gop as well?

could make things very interesting.

Jrb - that is what I am hoping for...Huckabee stays in to make it a race, and causes some problems before the convention.

I'm pretty sure it isn't mathematically possible, because Romney keeps his count. At this point, Huckabee is just going for the publicity he was denied when Romney was still in it. Which is the smart political thing to do.

it might not be possible for Huckabee to get enough delgates to get the nomination, but its possible that he could get enough to stop mccain from securing it.

Plus it's a long time before an election. John McCain could die, tomorrow. Huckabee would be a fool to step aside, just as the attention is turning toward him.
